Description

OUR HOME IN BALI

We are back! The first Asian chapter this year takes us to the epicentre of the remote work movement. For six weeks we are going to enjoy: authentic yoga, green rice fields, healthy & nutritious food, strong surf breaks, stunning beaches and a solid coworking scene. To get the most of all of that, we set our base in Canggu area – surrounded by jungle and rice fields – a short scooter ride from cafés, stores, restaurants and the beach!

We have space for 20 awesome people, staying in two spacious, high-quality villas. They come equipped with good internet, plenty of space for work and play, and a setup that will make you feel comfortable and productive.

How about a morning swim before working from the rooftop while overlooking a jungle and rice field paradise? Make it your daily routine :) There are 10 spacious ensuite bedrooms, an open kitchen, big living rooms and a big garden for work and play!

ADVENTURES & THINGS TO DO IN BALI

Whether you’re here for the serenity and relaxation or thrill seeking and adventure, Bali’s got you covered!

THE ART OF YOGA

Canggu is home to several yoga studios offering classes in beautiful relaxed surrounds, so there’s no need to interrupt your practice while working and traveling. It doesn’t matter if you are beginner, intermediate or pro, or you would like to become a yoga teacher - they have all kind of courses for a small amount of money.

WELCOME TO FOOD HEAVEN

Nowhere else you get the chance to eat healthy, locally produced food that easily. Smoothie bowls in the morning, a fresh coconut during the day, balinese tapas like for lunch and a tasty salad for dinner. A big plus, you get a lot of value for your money and eating three times a day will cost you minimum 15 USD.

MOUNT BATUR

Hike the active volcano by night for a spectacular sunrise. experience the stunning mornings views of the surrounding crater and lake and maybe even catch a performance of the Barong and Kris Dance.

GOOD VIBES HAPPEN ON THE TIDES

Blessed with 365 days of swell, damn good weather and pristine warm water temps, the ‘Island of the Gods’ is a fave surf destination for travelers. Our favorites? The early morning surfs before work, or the sunset sessions to unwind in style!

TIRTA EMPUL TEMPLE

Walking through lush gardens and pathways with moss-covered statues and tropical plants, we’ll get to the entrance of the Tirta Empul Temple; the legendary setting of a tale of good vs. evil. The bathing pools are a part of an ancient ritual of purification, which is still practiced today.

THE GILI ISLANDS

They are what most people dream of when they talk about a tropical paradise. Car free, lots of palm trees, beautiful corals and white sandy beaches. A great place for diving, snorkeling, stand up paddeling, Each island has it’s own special character. Trawangan is the most cosmopolitan, with a vibrant tropical party scene.

Knowing how lonely the nomad life can be, I looked for nomad retreats, co-living and houses

Knowing how lonely the nomad life can be, I looked for nomad retreats, co-living and houses. I picked Wifi Tribe for its affordability and exciting locations. Diego’s friendly vibe confirmed my choice during our first call :) All in all, it was an amazing experience in Florianópolis in Brazil. People at Wifi Tribe are diverse, engaging, exciting - therefore this is perfect opportunity to male new friends outside of your comfort zone.

Everyone was genuine, kind, funny, and honest which facilitated a very inclusive group

Everyone was genuine, kind, funny, and honest which facilitated a very inclusive group. Despite coming from different career/industry backgrounds people were serious about their work. I also appreciated that the organizers made an effort to make sure no one was feeling ostracized yet keeping a healthy distance to let people make their own choices.

I chose the tribe for their month-to-month flexibility and the close-knit community feel

I chose the tribe for their month-to-month flexibility and the close-knit community feel. Because each chapter only accommodates 20 ppl, it lends to the feeling of traveling with a close group of friends. There's no separation within the tribe, no cliques. Everyone feels like they belong. The tribe members all have a very inclusive, friendly, and engaging personality. It was like we’d known each other for a long time and were really good friends. Love how open everyone has been with sharing their stories, remote work insights, and professional skillset. The networking and collaborative aspect of the group is top notch! I'm already planning on rejoining the tribe for two more chapters this year, and more next year!

Great group of like-minded travelers with a work hard, play hard attitude

Great group of like-minded travelers with a work hard, play hard attitude. Highly recommend joining the tribe, especially if you are considering whether the digital nomad lifestyle is for you. Great people, excellent locations, strong sense of community.

Wifi Tribe was the perfect place to start my super hardcore digital nomad life

Wifi Tribe was the perfect place to start my super hardcore digital nomad life. Diego and Julia are super welcoming and did a great job fostering a sense of community / making everyone feel welcome. I stress this because some nomad groups have a "you can't sit with us attitude." Anyway, I also had Diego running around the city helping me with Visa issues, doctor's appointments, and so on. He probably hated it a lot but he never complained. I had a great time and can't wait to meet up with them again. All tens. Great value. Would recommend.

Can't believe it's my last day in Nicaragua today-- The last 3 weeks with the WifiTribe have been seriously amazing

Can't believe it's my last day in Nicaragua today-- The last 3 weeks with the WifiTribe have been seriously amazing. I got to live in a big, beautiful house with some really awesome people from all over the world, travelled to some cool destinations (and hit up some sick parties ) on the weekends, and got a lot of work done... always with an ocean view. The digital nomad subculture is a quickly growing one and I think anyone who is currently working from home should learn about it. If that's you, check these guys out and if you dare, go meet them in Portugal next month!

If you’re still looking for your tribe, look no further! I joined “the tribe” in Bolivia and had an amazing experience

If you’re still looking for your tribe, look no further! I joined “the tribe” in Bolivia and had an amazing experience. Not only do you save on expenses by traveling in a small team, but the tribe provides a creative atmosphere where you can bounce ideas off one another and share experiences and skills. The major advantage of co-living/working with the Wifi Tribe is building lasting relationships and really getting to know who you’re on this journey with, which would be impossible with the other larger, remote-living groups out there.
