**OUR HOME IN JAMAICA **

Our last Central American chapter will be Jamaica. For four weeks we are going to stay in the North of the island in Montego Bay. A beautiful strip of land with stunning white beaches, jungle-like green hills and a lot of expats. We will have space for 15 awesome people, staying in spacious, high-quality apartments. They come equipped with good internet, plenty of space for work and play, and a setup that will make you feel comfortable and productive.

ADVENTURES + THINGS TO DO IN JAMAICA
This Caribbean island country is all about water: from chasing waterfalls to cliff jumping, snorkeling, surfing, diving or taking a bamboo raft down the water - the turquoise blue is everywhere you go. It's stunningly beautiful and the invitation for a quick swim is tempting all the time. In combination with Reggae tunes and the laid-back vibes of the island, it is hard to leave again.

**CLIFF JUMPING AND SUNSETS **

Rick's Café is located at the top of a 35-foot high cliff on the far west end of Jamaica, it boasts some of the best, uninterrupted, sunsets in the world! Check out the cliff jump video! Live music in the background, cold beer in hand and a sunset that will make you feel like you’re on a different planet. What else do you want? It sets the perfect Jamaican vibe.

THE REAL JAMAICA

Montego Bay, also called "MoBay", offers you an authentic Jamaican experience. This is the place to go and eat at a real local eatery and stroll around the city.

**HIKE UP THE DUNN'S RIVER FALLS **

Yes, you can do it, actually go and climb up the falls in the rushing water! Stop in the pools along the way and savor the gorgeous tropical surroundings.

**APPLETON RUM TOUR **
Take a tour of the Appleton Sugar Plantation and the Appleton Rum Factory.

KINGSTON

A city of two halves. Downtown is home to historic buildings, street markets and one of the Caribbean’s greatest art museums. By contrast, Uptown holds the city’s best restaurants, largely confined to New Kingston, with its cluster of tall buildings around Emancipation Park. And don't forget to get a plate of spicy jerk and wash it down with a cold Red Stripe beer, an essential To Do while visiting Jamaica.

UNDER THE SEA

Head to the north coast, buy a pair of goggles, and jump into the turquoise blue. It's beautiful to just go and explore the wide array of sea life, all the different coral reefs, stingrays, sharks, colorful fish, sponges and caves.

CAVE HOPPING

There are around 1,000+ caves spread over the island. While you can’t go checking out them all, there are plenty you can visit. To start, head to the Green Grotto Caves on the north coast.

GO BAMBOO RAFTING

Usually we are going for the adrenaline kicking white water rafting, but this time we have the chance to experience Jamaica from a totally different perspective and join for a more local way of transport, by taking a trip down the Rio Grande River on a bamboo raft. The best way to explore hidden waterfalls, springs, caves and jump in the water for a refreshing swim
